Boarding Terms & Conditions

If your cat has had any sneezing within the previous 21 days, SPC must be notified.

SPC does not administer medications or special dietary requirements outside of our normal operating hours (please contact us for further details if required).

If your cat requires medication, this must be disclosed to SPC at the time of booking. Cats requiring medication will incur an additional fee of $2 per day, per medication administered.

* Please provide medication in a sealed plastic & labelled container with instructions.

In order for your cat to board in the SPC communal cattery, they must have a current Feline 3 in 1 vaccine (including Calicivirus, Rhinotracheitis and Feline Enteritis). The vaccine must have been done within 24 months prior to their stay. If this is the first vaccine and / or outside of the 24 month period since the last vaccine, this must be done at least 7 days prior to arrival.

Kittens must have had 2-3 vaccines given 3-4 weeks apart. After this they require a vaccine booster one year later.

SPC reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat appearing to be unwell or thought to be suffering from any illness or infectious disease.

SPC facilities and management practices are maintained to a very high standard to ensure the health, safety and welfare of your cat is attended to. However, SPC accept no liability or claims for illness, disease, accident, loss by death of any cat for any reason whatsoever.

SPC do not board cats older than 15 years of age unless by special application.

SPC reserve the right to take your cat to a Veterinarian. Any Veterinarian expenses incurred will be paid by the owner. An additional service fee for time and travel will be payable to SPC.

By boarding your cat with SPC, you have authorised veterinary treatment up to $300.00. For the approval of treatment over $300.00 every reasonable effort will be made to contact yourself or your alternative contact. In the event that neither party can be contacted, the Veterinary’s decision for treatment will be final.

If your cat shows signs of sneezing, a veterinarian will not be contacted unless further signs of illness occur.

Flea and Parasite treatment should be current. However, treatment will be given at owner’s expense, if deemed necessary.

SPC feed Royal Canin optimal nutrient profile dry biscuits twice daily. Any special dietary requirements (Including wet food) must be provided by the owner Please provide your own dry food in a hard or plastic, sealed & labelled container. Special dietary requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking and not at the time of check in. If provided, wet food is given during the evening shift only. Wet food given during the morning shift will incur an additional $2 charge (per cat).

If you are bringing in Wet food for your cat, please provide in single serve sachets or tins and placed in a hard / plastic sealed and labelled container.

(*SPC will provide containers & labels for the duration of stay for an additional $5 fee).

SPC does not accept un-neutered cats over the age of 8 months.

No discounted rates apply from the1st December to 31st January. During this period SPC reserve the right to charge for the full booking even if you collect your cat before the due date or drop off later.

Bookings between the 1st December and the 31st January will require a non-refundable $50 deposit to be paid by 1st October or there from.

A public holiday surcharge of $4 per day (or part day) per cat will be applied.

SPC has set open hours for drop off and collection. These times are indicated on your booking confirmation and can be altered by request.

Special drop off and pick up times outside of our usual operating hours that are between 9.30am & 5pm can be requested. If accepted by SPC, a $20 charge will apply. No shows or cancellations made on the booked arrival day will incur a $10 booking fee.

Drop off and pick ups are strictly not permitted on any Public holidays.

SPC reserves the right to amend the pricing and Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any exceptions to the above Terms & Conditions will incur a $30 charge.

* SPC may use photos of your cat for Social Media - Facebook and Website gallery. Please advise SPC if you do not wish to have your cats photo published at the time of booking.
